This is my blogging journey in my own words. I have tried to keep it honest and specific rather than dramatic, because the facts matter more to me than making the story sound impressive.
Getting started
I got interested in websites and blogging while I was still a teenager, at around 16. I wanted to start, but paying for web hosting was a real expense for me at that stage. Instead of asking for the money at home, I worked picking cotton and saved roughly ₹6,000, and I used that to pay for my first hosting.
Working from a phone
I did not have a computer at first. Most of my early work happened on a budget Android smartphone. It was slow, the screen was small, and it would sometimes hang while I was working, but it was what I had, so I kept learning WordPress and building websites on it.
Failures and rejections
It did not go smoothly. I faced several Google AdSense rejections early on. Each rejection pushed me to learn more about content quality, site structure, SEO and the rules I had been ignoring. Those failures taught me more than the successes did.
The first real milestone
Over time, and while still working with a very limited setup, my online work eventually added up to about ₹1 lakh in total earnings. It was not monthly income and it did not happen overnight — it was the result of a lot of trial and error over the early part of the journey.
Reinvesting
Instead of spending that money, I put part of it back into my work and bought a MacBook. Having a proper machine made a real difference to how much I could build and manage.
Where I am now
Since then I have expanded into several website projects across education, information publishing, SEO and AI tools. I lean heavily on AI in my development workflow, which lets me build and troubleshoot far more than my traditional coding background would allow on its own. I am still learning, and the journey is ongoing.
